Detailed Itinerary


Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

India Gate, Delhi

Arrive Delhi by International flight. After a traditional 'Swagat' (Welcome) our representative would assist you at airport & transfer to hotel for check-in. After breakfast, take a guided tour of Old Delhi, the 17th century walled city of Shah Jehanabad. Visiting the great Jama Masjid, Red Fort followed by walk through Chandi Chowk, the old marketplace of Shah Jahanabad, now a picturesque bazaar.
Post Lunch visit Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat later drive by  India Gate & President's House. Also visit Humayun's Tomb & Qutub Minar in  New Delhi

Day 02 : Delhi – Leh (Flight)

Early Morning afterbreakfst transfer to Airport to board the flight to Leh, The Land of endless discovery. Upon arrival you are met by our representative & transferred to our Hotel. Complete rest for the day & acclimatisation.  Later in the afternoon walk around Leh town & a visit to Leh Market.

Day 03 : Leh – Alchi – Uleytokpo (75Kms.)

After breakfast leave for the famous Alchi monastery, which is the only monastery in Ladakh on flat ground. En route visit Likir monastery perched on a hilltop & overlooking Likir village. Later drive to Uleytokpo campsite, which one of the most beautiful campsites in Ladakh region. Evening at leisure by the bank of river .

Day 04 : Uleytokpo – Lamayuru – Leh  (180Kms.)

After breakfast leave Uleytokpo for Lamayuru monastery. Enroute pass through Khaltsi, known for its famous apricots & apples. From here another 22 Kms drive to Lamayuru after climbing high mountain loops. Visit the Lamayuru Monastery, oldest & most spectacularly set monastery in Ladakh & was founded in the 10th Century BC. Later in the afternoon drive back to Leh which will take about 5 hours drive. Evening at leisure

Day 05 : Leh – Khardungla - Leh  (85Kms.)

After breakfast take a full day excursion to Khardongla pass, highest motorable pass in the 5602Mtrs & been recorded in Guinness Book of World Records. At the top enjoy the nature beauty of snow capped mountain. In the evening drive back to the Leh.

Day 06 : Leh – Pangong Lake  - Leh  (290Kms.)

Leave early morning with packed breakfast & lunch to Pangong Lake, Ascend Changla Pass (5486 m), enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages below the Pass. After crossing the Pass we reach Tsoltak, known for its yaks. Arrive Durbuk, from there a short drive to the western shore of the Pangong lake. Enjoy the landscape in the backdrop of the Lake. This famous blue & brackish Lake is 5-6 Km wide & over 144 Km long with 2/3rd of it running the other side of INDO-TIBETAN BORDER & 1/3rd in India. One rarely feels so close to nature & the scenery is unforgettable. Late afternoon drive back to Leh.

Day 07 : Leh - Indus ValleyMonasteries Visit

After breakfast proceed for Indus Valley monastery tour. Start with a visit to Shey, the ancient capital of Ladakh. The monastery here has a huge gold-gilded statue of Buddha, with a large silver lamp burning in front of the statue. Then visit Thiksey Monastery (Gompa), an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village. The monastery has a beautiful 30 m high gold-plated statue of Maitreya Buddha, the Buddha of the future. Drive further to visit the famous Hemis Gompa, founded in the year 1630 by Stag-tsang-ras-pa under the royal patronage of Sengge Namgyal. Hemis is one of the largest & richest monasteries of Ladakh. Later visit the Stok Palace, the Royal residence of the King of Stok & the Museum that has a rich collection of Ancient Ladakhi artefacts including old Thangkas, precious stones, arms & armoury, the Queen’s necklace & crown of the King of Ladakh among others.
The two-day festival of monastic dance in July/August has raised the reputation of Hemis particularly high. The festival is dedicated to Guru Padmasambhava, popularly known as second Buddha & responsible for spreading Buddhism in the Tibetan world

Day 08 : Leh – Delhi (flight)

Morning post breakfast transfer to Airport to catch the flight for Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi assistance to check in at our Hotel.

Taj Mahal, Delhi Morning post breakfast we drive to Agra.
Agra, the erstwhile capital of India under Great Mughals & known for Taj Mahal - Eternal Poetry of love, built by emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Most of Agra is on the West bank of river Yamuna, with the Agra Fort & the Taj Mahal at its nucleus. Taj Mahal is quite simply one of mankind's most remarkable creations. After an early breakfast, visit Taj Mahal followed by Agra Fort. Later in the afternoon take an excursion to Sikandara, Akbar's tomb. Later in the evening we will drive back to Delhi.

Day 10 : Depart Delhi - Transfer
